BOOT BARN HQ by The Heartland Interior Design

Heartland Interiors designed the new corporate headquarters for Boot Barn, drawing inspiration from a modern Montana lodge at dusk infused with a gothic, sexy cowgirl twist. As a Nebraska native who grew up immersed in the country lifestyle, this project was both deeply personal and creatively fulfilling. Each of the building’s four floors is grounded in a distinct material theme. Stone, leather, iron, and timber, reflecting the rugged authenticity of Boot Barn’s brand and the spirit of the American West. To complement this palette, we selected the Shaker Side Chair in Light Brown Brindle Cowhide and Brown Leather by AMBROZIA Furniture for its rich texture, warmth, and refined Western sensibility. The design fuses raw, natural materials with elevated, dramatic details: a four-story indoor waterfall, a custom laser-cut hide mural, and fringe-inspired sculptural lighting. The spaces feel organic, moody, and richly layered, blending workplace function with hospitality-driven warmth. It’s an environment crafted to inspire and to celebrate heritage, craft, and country through a modern lens.

Leave the World behind, by NETLIX

In Rumaan Alam’s acclaimed 2020 novel, the house is described with colorful interiors and a quaint white picket fence. Not so in Sam Esmail’s adaptation. With Alam’s blessing, Esmail opted for something far more ominous, says production designer Anastasia White. The film’s stately Long Island home rented by Amanda Sandford (Julia Roberts) for a quiet escape with her husband Clay (Ethan Hawke) and their two mercurial teenagers exudes the cold elegance of an Airbnb stripped of any sentimental trace. Its enigmatic owner, G.H. “George” Scott (Mahershala Ali), hopes to remain anonymous, but that veneer quickly dissolves. Soon after the Sandfords settle in, George and his daughter (Myha’la) arrive in the dead of night, fleeing a Manhattan blackout that signals a looming technological collapse. For the production, Anastasia White selected the Cadelon Dining Table in solid walnut and blackened steel by AMBROZIA Furniture, anchoring the home’s interiors with a quiet, sculptural presence.
